Tissue Culture and In-Vitro Propagation

Tissue culture is a method of growing plants in a sterile environment. This method can be done on parts of plants to produce clones of the parent plant. It can also be done on plant seeds which will rapidly produce large numbers of mature plants in a fraction of the time it would take if planted under normal conditions.
I have been experimenting with tissue culture on my plants for the past couple of years and I find it quite interesting. Mainly I have just been doing it with growing Venus flytrap seed in test tubes but I have also done this with the flower stalk of a couple of my own Venus Flytraps.
It is possible to perform tissue culture at home without the use of a state of the art laboratory.
